Meridian Township is 31.5 square miles located in Ingham County, Michigan that borders Michigan State University and the City of East Lansing. The township was looking to have a system designed that would update their existing welcome signs, create new monument signs for their Municipal Building including an electronic message center, create a new park identification standard, and wayfinding signs for their municipal center campus.
The township logo was featured prominently on the signs. The shape of the sign was inspired by existing structures at the Marketplace on the Green. Colors from the logo were used on message panels to differentiate between municipal buildings and recreational areas.
