Corbin Design President Mark VanderKlipp will partner with Barbara Natal, Project Manager for Campus Development at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, to provide healthcare professionals with a case study on developing interactive kiosks for healthcare environments. The presentation will take place at the 20th Annual Healthcare Facilities Symposium & Expo at Chicago’s Navy Pier, at 9:15 AM October 3. Learning objectives for the case study include:

Corbin Design is working with Northwestern Memorial Hospital on a range of interior and exterior wayfinding projects involving the new one-million-square-foot Prentice Women’s Hospital, including a series of interactive wayfinding kiosks that are being incorporated into a system of more traditional signage elements. Northwestern Memorial Hospital is nationally recognized as one of the country's leading teaching hospitals and its medical specialties are consistently ranked among the nation’s best by U.S. News & World Report magazine. The new Prentice Women’s Hospital facility scheduled to open later this year will offer a dedicated women’s health center, inpatient and outpatient diagnostic services, the capacity for up to 13,600 births per year and one of the largest neonatal intensive care units in the nation.
