Steve is our designated wordsmith—developing written communication strategies for the firm and its print and Web clients. He also helps generate text, site architecture and HTML code for our Web site clients while maintaining our own site. Steve has an extensive background in writing, editing and Web development. Since joining Corbin in 1999, he has developed program documents and standards manuals for many of Corbin’s wayfinding clients, and written copy for historical plaques and promotional brochures. He’s also worked on a wide range of Web, interactive and new media projects for healthcare, education, government and corporate clients. Before joining Corbin, Steve spent five years as a reporter and copy editor for the Traverse City Record-Eagle, where he wrote breaking news and feature stories, laid out pages, and maintained the newspaper’s Web site. In his spare time, he helped design and build sites for Traverse Internet, now part of Charter Communications. A journalist for 12 years, Steve’s writings have won numerous regional and state awards.
