Sign Research Foundation - University Workshop
In October  2017, Corbin Design lead designer Clint Douthitt worked with the Sign Research Foundation and the Michigan State University School of Planning, Design & Construction for a day-long workshop looking at how wayfinding signage can impact the urban environment as well as the unique challenges of incorporating wayfinding sigange in a university setting. Michigan Downtown Association Annual Conference
"How Wayfinding Can Communicate Your Brand" - Traverse City, Michigan: Corbin Design president Shelley Steele and lead designer Jeff Frank presented a summary of ways in which wayfinding and branding can work together. 
Creative Placemaking Summit 2
"Welcoming Communities: What's the Visitors' Perspective?" - Lansing, Michigan: Corbin Design president Shelley Steele explored innovative concepts that can be used to reinforce placemaking, specifically how this effects the first-time visitors' impression of a community.
Northern Ontario Tourism Summit
"Tourism Northern Ontario Wayfinding Strategy Update" – Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario: Corbin Design presented an overview of the TNO wayfinding strategy along with updates to the progress of ongoing initiatives that support visitor wayfinding across Northern Ontario. 
Society for Healthcare Strategy & Market Development (SHSMD) Connections 2015 Conference Roundtable
"How Wayfinding Helps Create a Better Experience" – Washington DC: Moderated a roundtable discussion with healthcare marketing professionals on the benefits of an integrated wayfinding system to overall patient experience.
Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association
"Tourism Northern Ontario Wayfinding Strategy" – Thunder Bay, Ontario: Corbin Design presented the 2014 Tourism Wayfinding Strategy to this annual convention of elected municipal officials, sharing the primary ideas from the strategy and calls to action for attendees. Now approved, this Strategy will be implemented on the regional and municipal level and will include Visitor Information Centre (VIC) staff training, mapping and wayfinding signage. The TNO Wayfinding Strategy appears on the TNO Website.
American Trails 2015 Webinar Series: Trail Wayfinding Systems: a Design Summit
"Trail Wayfinding Systems: A Practical Guide to Principles, Best Practices and Deployment": Corbin Design contributed to a group presentation with Greenway Planners,  Acorn Group, and Alta Planning & Design to showcase issues around trail systems planning with a focus on wayfinding, interpretive and digital integration. Society for Experiential Graphic Design (SEGD) Business of Design Summit
